Has the app been renamed?
This app has been called Find Baby Names for many years, but now it was time for something new. Norbert is an old name built from “nord”, meaning north, and “berht”, meaning bright and shining, so something along the lines of “the light from the north”. That fits well, because the app is made here in Norway. It is also a warm and slightly different name for a character who is going to get even better at helping you find baby names. Hope the app will be a great help to you. Many more exciting improvements are coming soon!

A baby name app helps you organize your search. Personal suggestions help you find names you would never think of yourself, it shows you up-to-date lists of popular names, and it makes it easy to sort and filter names to suit you. It is also fun to search together with others.
How much does it cost?
Norbert is free to use. On Android the app is completely free, and on iOS you can do a lot without paying. Browsing through the names for one country is free. On iOS you must pay to unlock extra features, either with a monthly subscription for $1.99 or with a one-time lifetime purchase for $3.99. Prices may vary slightly depending on your country and are always shown in the App Store before you pay.
Can I find names together with my partner?
Yes. Both of you can go through names on your own phones, and the names you both like show up as matches. That makes it easy to find names you agree on.
Which countries are covered?
The app currently includes names from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the USA, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Brazil and France.
Is my data private?
Yes. We never share your data, and we store it securely. You don't even need to create an account, unless you want to sync your names to another phone.
Are there any ads?
No. Norbert is a completely ad-free experience.
